Both the Lord’s table and prayer meeting are hybrid in-person and on Zoom. Many of the home meetings are also able to open a Zoom link on request, with those on Zoom being equal participants in the meeting and not merely spectators of a physical meeting. Please contact us for more information and to receive the address or invitation links to join.
The Lord’s Table Meeting
“And He took a loaf and gave thanks, and He broke it and gave it to them, saying, This is My body which is being given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
Luke 22:19
The Lord Jesus instituted this meeting Himself about 2000 years ago. During this meeting we partake of the bread and the cup that remind us of our Lord Jesus Christ who paid the unique price for the believers to be able to come back to God and enjoy Him as their life and everything.
On most Lord’s days the church in Cambridge meets at The Scout Centre, Logan’s Way, Chesterton, Cambridge CB4 1BL to partake of the Lord’s table (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 10:16-17) and to build up one another through speaking in mutuality (1 Cor. 14:26, 4), followed by a love feast (twice a month) to eat and enjoy more fellowship together.
Once a month, we have a joint Lord’s Table meeting with churches from the East of England, hosted in either Cambridge or Norwich.
You are more than welcome to join us on the Lord’s day. Please contact us to confirm the location in case this is a week we are not at The Scout Centre.
Prayer Meetings
“These all continued steadfastly with one accord in prayer…”
Acts 1:14
The prayer meeting of the church is one of the most important meetings believers can participate in. As the church we come together to pray every Tuesday from 7.30pm. For more on this meeting, including locations and times please contact us.
Home Meetings
“And they continued steadfastly in the teaching and the fellowship of the apostles, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.”
Acts 2:42
“For where there are two or three gathered into My name, there am I in their midst.”
Matthew 18:20
We also meet at various times throughout the week to enjoy the Lord by gathering in homes in and around Cambridge (including in Milton, Ely, and Soham) to eat together, sing, pray, study the Bible, and fellowship. These are times for mutual shepherding and are open for all ages. To find the closest home meeting to your area or at a time you are available, please contact us.
